Somewhere buried I have the info on pic #4. I'll see what I can dig up tonight.

It is, of course, postwar, and Kaigun flight crews were used to fly the N1K's to another base for eventual shipment back to the US. My poor, old memory starts failing at this point, but I seem to recall the flight was "escorted" by a TBM.

I imagine the fighters had to weave so the escort could keep up. :wink:

this will be the last of the Japanese Airplanes for now, the rest I have are so out of focus not worth posting, but I will be going back to get more in November
