Just wondering if anyone's going to the Dayton Air Show? Yeah, it's the same weekend as Oshkosh, I know, but it's less expensive. :) I'm going to be there with some buddies, but we're not sure where we're going to hang out yet during the flying show. Too many nice places according to the resident "expert" who convinced us to go there this year.

Is there a good place for people to meet at Dayton or is it just one of those affairs where anyone wanting to meet needs to just pick a plane? I know our group will most likely be arriving together on Saturday at the airshow as we're all staying together, but one or two may be joining us at the airshow so it would be great if we can all meet together at the same place/time or something too.

Local Air Force. Doesn't post here, he's stationed at WPAFB and has good local knowledge.

Reminder ... if your in the Dayton area and would like to meet the AF Thunderbirds, they will be signing autographs in the Museum, tomorrow AM from 9 to 10 AM.

Also, one of the easiest way to get to the Air Show is using the shuttles from the museum. Cost is $3 each and they run from 7 am to 6pm at approx every 10 mintues.

Since I am volunteering in the morning, I am looking forward to meeting the Thunderbirds.

The Brazilian Smoke Team is making their only US appearance this weekend from what I hear.

If your going ............. Enjoy !!!!!!!!!
