Bill, yank that mini-motor and put in a real Spit one - the Grrrrrrifon and get some speed.....

Yeah the Top Gun music is playing in my head evertime I do preflight. Ha Ha. It is amazing to see that the stall speed of the Spit is much slower than I thought it would be.

I am in Valpariso, Ind, VPZ. Weather is fine, ,one more leg if all is well to FLD.I expect to be at the Osh Hilton tonight then Hol Inn Fld.

I am writing from the Business Center (really the center of monkey business ) at the Hilton overlooking the e-w runway at Oskosh. The Spitfire is at Fondu Lac and will get a well deserved wash there tommorrow. I may fly some there and bring it down here Sun eve or Mon am.
