Here's a few pics from Thunder...any critiques of photos should be directed to primary photographer and wixer sdennison (except for the pic I shot of him).

Here's my T-33 backseater Scott aka sdennison spitting nails and lookin' cool. He adapted quickly to the T-Bird back seat environment and is right at home there!!

Here's Scott and I lining up for a formation takeoff behind Warbird Heritage Foundation's F-86 that Dave Steffeldt and crew did such a sensational job IRANing and sharing with us on the WIX thread. Wow, your polishing crew did an awesome job!!

Rejoining the F-86 over central Michigan. What a sight!

A little cross-under...

Hard to imagine a prettier jet off my wing...we flew in formation all the way to west coast of Michigan, then went our separate ways--Paul Wood and the Sabre to Waukegan IL and me to Waukesha WI.

So, if a back seater in an F4 is a Radar Intercept Officer "RIO" is a back seater in a T33 a "BS'er"?

ohh ohh

Yeah, but I look pretty cool! 8)

You didn't hear? He not only kept up with the Sabre, but also shot down a Mig-17. 8)

Keep up? "Speed costs money, how fast do you want to go." Paul did have me peddling pretty hard inthe back but keep up was no issue.

Unbelievable flight! As son of a fighter pilot now benefiting from Paul's generosity, it was a bit "cosmic" in a philosophical kind of way. Dad flew the F86 briefly in the Guard.

Vlado, you won't remember me but it was a pleasure meeting you and I hope to have more time to chat the next time we cross paths.

He pulled it back a little and I kept up no problem. When he pushed it up he started walking away, but not as fast as I thought he would. We were actually pretty compatible performance-wise. See you in a few days!!

Yeah, but I really looked good doing it, eh? 8) Somebody has to do damage control on the ground for you "Super Heros" or nobody gets invited back. You know how much landscaping costs nowadays? Especially with Homeland Security.

I would like to chat "aircraft wise" one day though. I have great respect for what you have accomplished and what you do in the air!

But I am really a "Dillwad". Just a warning.
