It is Wed evening and I am at Akron(CAK) Ohio. The weather wasn't too good this am at Geneeso, but flyable this afternoon. I refueled and put the belly tank back on, so if things go ok should be in FLD tomaorrow aor more likley Fri as ti loks like better weather then rather than tomorrow. Tue bI flew a glider at Harris Hill, Elmira and that is really agreat experience in that location.

Bill, did you fly the Spit into Harris Hill? That’s quite a fun little spot, I've been in there a few times with a tow plane, definitely a different view on final.....

Akron weather at 9am, 800 scattered, multiple layers above, 3 miles visiblity in light rain, 2 degree temp/dewpoint spread. Looks like a good day to vistit Hall of Fame. Fri weather should be ok. About 375 miles and one stoop to FLD, I hope.

Akron weather update at 2pm, 2100 OVC, vis ok at 10 miles, temp dewpoint spread about 4 degrees. The sun came out just long enough to see if any fools were around then disappeered again. Went to the Pro Football Hall of Fame, ok, not really great. Best stuff was on the old days. Anybody know why they call it the "gridiron"?

When are you leaving? The only time I have free tomorrow to come visit is around 12 and only for a half an hour. Let me know if you get the chance. See, I don't pay attention to WIX for a day or two and I miss our on a Spitfire!

Wanna buzz my house in NW Columbus on the way through?

'Look sons, now that's an airplane!'

If Bill can't I will bring my Piper past. High speed pass at 120 knots. "I feel the need, the need for speed."

I couldn't help myself. I find it funny that the top speed on the plane I fly is like the stall speed of the Spitfire.

Normal economy cruise speed, 214knots, about 240 mph. Gear down speed 136 k, stall clean 72k, VSO 62k. Acro entry speeds, loop 260k, roll 206k, roll off the top 295k, VNE .85 or .88 mach. Groundspeed the last 2 days, 0, and still sitting here at the FBO ready to go waiting for some blue sky.

Does that mean I'm not gonna get my flyby?

Great. Now if I can figure out how to get my 5-year-old off this roof.
