How many working old Props out there?

I checked the Airtanker List for Federally contracted large airtankers for the 2007 fire season.This is what is listed.There are no assigned home bases,except for adminstrative purposes.The aircraft types are as listed:

Mostly from airlinerlist.com and http://www.dappa.nl/airtankers.htm and a few other sources so that's why there's a few different numbers for some aircraft.

Mostly either as firefighting aircraft (46 - 79 not including the Cl-215's and Trackers) although that number seems to be constantly changing, or as cargo/passenger transports in Alaska.

I wasn't including Turboprop aircraft in the numbers, and not sure how many of the Convairs or Trackers are still using piston motors.

Does anybody know how many props are still in military service?
I know the DHC Caribou is in Aus & maybe elsewhere, these aircraft might also still be as well; Dc-3, CL-215, Tracker (Thai) & T-28. Anybody know if Prop versions of these are still used in Military service?

Does anyone know many of the old prop aircraft (ie. the WW11 /propliners era large disp. motors) are still used in regular service? Aircraft operating in a commercial/military environment rather than as a warbird or historic display.
