It has happened all day to me as well, just keep clicking the refresh button over and over until you get in, It seem to work for me.

I experience it periodically... it's happened quite often over the last week or so but, as was mentioned, a healthy attack on the refresh key usually does the trick...

Having similar problems here in the UK.

Another intermittent problem that I get is when trying to open the forums page, my browser hangs and when I refresh, I have been logged out automatically and when I then log on, the system assumes that I have read all the posts and no new topics are shown :x

Ya, I use the refresh button all the time although it does not help me. Usually it brings a "page cannot be displayed" up. :?

Yeah, I think the hosting company is having trouble keeping up with the amount of data retrieval requests, it seems to always be a database error. They may not be maintaining the database and allowing it to get fragmented etc.

Scott,

Not sure if this means anything but I have experienced similar problems recently with another website I visit which is also phpBB. The incidents have not been as frequent as here but I visit here more often so it's relative.

I guess it's a 'debug' related item; a short time ago I tried to log on via the link to "Robing Olds-RIP" and got this bonk message that particular thread did not exist!!" I went to another msg. and back to WIX hangar and no problemo.
