There was a front section story in USA Today about Steve Hinton in Glacier Girl and Ed Shipley in the P-51 heading across the North Atlantic in a couple of days. I was talking to Howard Pardue and he said he would be willing to go in the 38, and he didn't regard it as overly risky. He has a 38 type rating via Lone Star and Ronnie Gardner. Godspeed and fair winds to those guys.
