For those of you who are fans of the folks that built the planes that we love, here are some pics from the Douglas-Tulsa plant duing WWII. I'll leave it to you experts to discuss/decipher exactly what each person is doing. DT built A-24, B-24 and A-26 aircraft, and modified A-20, B-17 and B-25 and C-47 aircraft, in addition to doing all of the production YB-40 models. The photos are all in the collection of the Tulsa Air and Space Museum. Enjoy!

Great stuff! The young guy in the second photo is probably trying to figure out why the Consolidated and Ford drawings are completely different and the parts shipped in don't fit! The gentleman in photo five is dangerously close to working on the aft lavatory too! :o
