Lynn, If I could I would but Texas is a ways away for this Western Canadian warbird nut. :) Do they allow said warbird nuts in for a look-see?

You bet, its just you will have to stand in line. Every time we have a trip to the west coast, the departure we use takes us over them. Watch your AAsavers from American Airlines for a cheap air fare to DFW and then Eagle to Abilene, Texas and a rent-a-dent drive to Breckenridge and you will be in there :wink:

Well, I stopped by Ezell Aviation yesterday, on my way back to Midland with a little RV-4. The P-38 is absolutely spectacular! Every person in that shop should be extremely proud of what they've turned a historically rough airplane into. This is truly one of those airplanes that pictures won't do it justice.

They keep the entire airplane covered up so that it won't get scratched, but here's a sneak peek that they allow for everyone........
