Just wondering who all is going to this show. I started as a volunteer for this years show and have designed a new web-site for the RAG but as of now have not got the go ahead to upload it to the server. Here is the site http://www.ontario-warbirds.ca/Russell/index.htm, the info on this site is pretty much up to date except that the JU52 will not be present.
Their will also be a phot tour and photo pit this year and have heard they changed the layout to give a better view of the aircraft for take off'
s and landings. I will be out their all next week so I will try to keep everyone updated as for any changes.

Cheers Dave C

I will be there but not sure which day yet. I am scheduled for midnight shift and I will be waiting till closer to the dates and weather reports as to which day will be better weather wise. Hope the changes are positive ones as there was much to be improved upon. Any more details as to the photo pit and tour ie: cost, advance purchase or at the gate, times etc.

Thanks in advance Dave.

Dave, please say hello to Ed Russell and all the others at the show there. Getting to fly there last summer was one of the highlights of my year. They have some fine airplanes, and enthusiastic crew.

I'll be there Sat and Sunday, and I'll probably duck out from work on Friday and get a sneak peek at the arrivals.

Too bad about the JU-52.

I'm going to try and hang around there for some time on Friday. Any idea when the majority of a/c are expected to arrive or is it just somewhere between sunrise and sunset? Other than that, I'll be there on Sunday. What's the word about the photo tour/pit? How much, how do you get in etc?

I'll be there on Sunday, unless the weather is tremendously better on Saturday. Anyone know when the gates open up?

So... how'd everyone like the show? Other than a pretty bad sunburn all over (forgot the sunscreen this time!) I had a great time. This was also my first show with my new Pentax ist DL digital slr, so that made it even better! Ontario-Warbird, was that you in that photo tent in the corner? If it was you probably got pictures of my head, my friend and I were close, we were the ones taking a nap on the grass near there! Anyways, its 12:30 at night, and I have to work at 5am, so I'll hold off posting any pictures until a decent hour.
