I am new to the forum I have a poasting for a Friend He has a AAF 74th Fighter Squadron A-2 Jacket part of the 23 Fighter Group 14th Air force CBI Flying Tigers in pretty good shape .
He is wondering what it might bring,or if their is such a market for that.

A lot of factors come into play with these old A-2 jackets. Can you post pics of it?

Depending on the condition of the jacket it could fetch a few hundred all the way up to $1,500 or more. Things that add value are the provenance (history to a pilot), any original unit patches still attached, and especially any custom artwork. There are a lot of high-end collectors out there that are willing to spend some serious $$$'s on flight jackets if there is a history behind them and can be I.D.'d.

Here's one that was just listed on ebay which is currently over $1,000. It's from a P-47 pilot with the 9th AAF and has everything going for it.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this top over $2,000!

Looks like quite a few people wanted to get their hands on that flight jacket. It sold for $2,650!
