Dear Mr. Greenwood,

I was looking at your airplane(Spit) on the registry and noticed that your from Colorado. I have a friend who lives there. Are you by chance a member of Airpower West?

Thanks Bill,
Nathan

Nathan, I used to be a member, but A W is based on the eastern slope, Centenial airport in south Denver, and I live 200 miles west in Aspen. I still have friends who are active.

Bill, I thought you were going to fly around Texas? I was in the yard all day today working for the boss and only thing that came by was an AN-2 around 1430 headed northwest bound. Would have been nice to hear a spit come by like they have over across the pond.

Fly safe,

Lynn

It's morning and looks vfr outside. Bush left so we can now fly in the area again. One of the CFIs clipped the edge of the TFR space, don't knw the details but he did not lose his teaching license. When it is the larger area they can't do traning at the airport, only go in or out on an xc flght plan. Last night the thunderstorms woke me up about 2 am. Ain't no drought around here right now! I'm heading to the to the airport.

Ztex, I did a test flight at McGregor, had to do a little more adjustment of the intercom, then flew up to Ft.Worth Meacham, am parked at Atlantic, formerly Trajen. It is nice enough day, but pretty windy. I'm trying to find a hangar to clean up the plane in, it's too hot and windy to do much outside. If the wind allows I may drive down to Borland to try to get a Stearman flight.

I be gone, the weather cleared up enough late Wed so I flew ove to Breckebnridge to see Howard, Nelson, Eddie and the crew. I left the Spitfire there for a few days and am back in Colorado now. It was good to meet Zane, Ztex who came over to keep me company for awhile and helped me add oil.
