Well, the photo really isn't very fair to all the other WIXers there; but those who have experienced the enormity and general chaos of Oshkosh understand what a challenge it is to get a group together.

So to Bryan, Tim, Jay, and all the other Airventurers I'm forgetting, maybe one of you can superimpose your images somewhere in the remaining spaces of that photo (cockpit, wing, maybe hanging upside down from the prop...).

Have fun at Ypsilanti everyone (I'll be tied up at work) :Hangman:

Looks like you guys took the WIXer photo after several WIXers left the area. I had to leave on the 1st.

For the info of those interested, here is a list of the Mustangs in attendance at OSH '04.

Ok folks,

Here's one for you. I just got a note from dan k. confirming...
Ironically this photo was taken by (at the time) a total stranger
**me** - a fellow wixer! It turns out we had all been over listening
to tex hill give a talk nearby and then afterwards everyone was
wandering. Ironically I had been shooting nearby and happened
to chat with nathan - and saw everyone gather - and since I was there
I often offer to snap the pic's so everyone gets in the shot.

Well little did I know it was a bunch of fellow wixer's. This is way too
hilarious to imagine. When I saw this post of the picture I said man that
looks very familiar.. took me a moment to put it all together until I confirmed it with dan!

this is totally wild.. (big grins from henning)
- what a small world.. -

Well maybe next year we may have to plan to get together and maybe
I'll get in the picture instead of behind it!

take care everyone.

henning

That is too funny, ans sadly too common. I have had numerous stories of people attending airshows simultaniously without knowing the other. One of the aspects of the WIX that I love is the ability to get groups of like minded individuals together to socialize and talk about what we all love... aircraft.

I look forward to seeing you in next years picture. :)
