Paul,

Do you have a list of what's all going to be there?

John

I haven't heard about this show. Is there a place I can find more information about what's happening?

I may be going through some serious airshow withdrawal this year, since the local CAF show has been cancelled for this year and the WOTN show was scheduled for a weekend in August when I'll be out of town.

I think the family and I might pile in the car and check this one out. Any idea how big this show in La Crosse gets?

Will a certain T-33 be there? And if so, will it fly during the show?

I actually have more interest in seeing the T-33 fly than I have in watching the Blue Angels.

Typically there is an assortment of warbirds based in the area. It's not unusual to see a bunch of T-6s along with a T-28 or two. There is usually at least one B-25 out on display, and I wouldn't be surprised to see a Mustang. Greg Herrick's Golden Wings is supposed to be open both days, which is worth the trip alone. American Wings will also be open, any day you can see a Mohawk is a good day :)

I'll be out at least one day, probably both if the weather is good.

No, can't play this weekend with the T-Bird since I'm working...the annual 767 simulator recurrent training/checkride. I'll be at the Manitowoc WI airshow June 1-3.

Here's a link to the Deke Slayton (LaCrosse WI) Airfest. As always, you never know what warbirds will cancel or decide to drop in last minute:
