I heard from a source that Miss America Will be on the course today out at stead...Anybody live close enough to verify this...Tor Stuff.... Maybe a pic or two..

I would doubt that, as the course is only set up and waivered during PRS and the actual races.

It sounds like make up scenes for TOR and also TOR promotional stuff.

So yes, I wuz wrong, they seem to be rounding the pylons lately!

Guys...
I'm new here, but keep track of "Miss A" as I live nearby, and also
do the announcing for her at airshows!
"Doc" Hisey and his crew have "Miss A" in the hanger right now, next to Doc's newest addition, a "fat-face" Spad (Skyraider), and the CAF's
down-on-it's-luck P-63F.
Also, the main racer in that film, Gary Baker's P-51A, was the plane that was destroyed at Oshkosh, killing the pilot (was it Baker himself, as i fear?).

Gerry Beck, and yes it was Beck that was killed.
