This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Mike, you need to post the big version of the picture you're using as your Avtar. It's one of my favorites!

Thanks Gary this is my favorite as well by John Dibbs
Original size is absulutely huge this has been drastically resized to fit. Taken at 13,000 feet plus behind the B-25 we used to have.

anyway to get the unresized version by any chance?
Mon May 07, 2007 10:11 pm
Photo is owned by Dibbs I am sure he will sell it. I can not since I do not own it. He gave me permission to use the photos for things like this. I could send you a print copy from the calender if you send me your address.

I always find it funny to see you tilting your head in that picture......like it's going to make a difference in how the airplane turns.

Not in the same league as the guys here that get to fly the warbirds,
but hey sitting in one is better than nothing.
Big thanks to Greg and the really nice people at Stallion51.
The kids got Disney, and I got Stallion and Flights of Fantasy
I think the slightly disgruntled look on my face is due to the fact that it was
time to get out.
