Awsome pics of the flight and ceremony. I love the new paint scheme. Is it going to be at KOSH?

Just received these from Trae, thought I'd throw them up here. Shots he took from inside LSFM's Special Delivery.

Trae,

I don't know if you were on board, but you guys don't know how much the missing man formation pass meant to some of those on the ground at Ft. Sam. Ya'll did a great job. Will see if my pictures turned out later.

I was in Special Delivery, Ryan. We are back at Stinson now. It really drew a lot of people that commented on the fly over and the Missing Man formation! I believe tomorrow will be a very busy day... :D

Trae- who is flying her this weekend? Is that Larry's arm I saw hanging out the right side window.
Who else is with you on the trip= I know JAG couldn't go but he didn't know who else was going to be there.

Trae,

Here's my pictures taken just after Special Delivery broke for the missing man role.

It was VERY emotional on the ground...

I hope to be at Stinson most of the day, but I'm at the Doubletree Hotel right now.

A big thank you to the Yellow Rose Squadron for putting this together.

That would appear to be the plan.

Great shots Ryan!!! Also, it was good to see you there Karen!! Today was a fantastic day again! We had two daughters from crew 13 that went up with us today. By far it was one of the best flights! I should be sending out some pics hopefully by next week. :supz:

That must've been the Bourgeois girls. They've been really friendly and nice to talk with, and they absolutely honor their father. Did you see the Bearcat that buzzed the field twice? As much as I love Mustangs, that is a beautiful plane, and must've had a good pilot on board.
I've got a more pictures to post tomorrow when I have access to fast internet again (I'm on dial-up here at home).

You are correct on the Daughters, Ryan. A really unforgetable flight! It will be next week more than likely before i can get a chance to post my pics.

More pics as promised...

Image

Trae, Thanks for your part in taking one of our ALS squadron members up for a great B-25 ride. That'll be remembered for a great while. It was fun talking with you on the ramp.

Image

The Red Tail project has new respect in my book. It was great to meet Doug with Miss Mitchell. I hadn't realized it before, but he was flying left seat on the B-25 ride I took on Pacific Prowler, and it was a good, smooth flight.

Image

Here's the best shot I got of the Bearcat pass. It was unannounced, and I wasn't in the best of locations for shooting it as it passed by. Otherwise I would've had some better shots. I almost had one perfectly framed before a B-25 tail got in the way...

Image

As Trae mentioned, Karen did make it out in the O-2. Did a nice smoke pass before landing (I wish I'd had my camera out, but was busy representing ALS with the plane).

Image

Here are the other warbird aircraft that came to Stinson. You can see part of a Stearman from Heritage, and a CAF BT-13 and AT-6 as well as the ALS L-2 that I flew in. I was personally suprised and a bit disappointed that there wasn't a greater turnout, but I guess that's ok.

Am posting more stuff on my website as I have time.

Ryan

Ryan, on Sunday someone came around with some pictures that he had blown up in size. He was looking for you, his name was Mike. He had some cool pics with you in front of the L-2 as it was parked in front of the Tower and FBO building.
