Tinker is named after Major General Clarence L Tinker. Died in a B-24 while bombing Wake Island.

I went to school with his grandson. His father was a fighter pilot(F-102?)
About 1962 the Tinker family were sent to Lybia and i never heard from him again. Does anyone have any history about his fathers career?
