I stumbled over this blog (scroll down a bit):

So N7079G is really flying again? Since when? Other comments?
I looked up the CofA which was issued on 11/16/2006. Photos are from December 2006.

Thanks

The pictures on that site almost look like Flight Sim screenshots to me.

They looks like they are screan shots for a video camera to me, or just like 3/4s the pictures I tried taking with my old Olympus Digital Camera.

A-26 Guthrie OK

Mon Feb 05, 2007 2:10 pm

I was at the Guthrie airport Saturday morning to retrieve a project aircraft and while we loaded up the pieces there was a big hangar door opening and it had a big twin inside. Soon it was pulled out and we realized it was an A-26, WOW. It soon fired up and taxied out to the end of the runway. Brief runup and off it went, was sure fun to see and hear that distinctive shape with the all the noise it puts out. As a Minnesota resident I remember seeing it at the St Paul airport awaiting repairs and such.

Thanks for the "sighting".

Yes, "WOW", my thoughts exactly

Just received an e-mail with a photo from Calvin Burgess who reports that the A-26 is going through flight testing at the moment. Another A-26 is back in the air!

Sorry if this hijacks the thread at all, I'm not meaning to do that. Does anyone have any information or photos about A-26 43-39359 N26BP? The last info in the registry is from 2002, and I haven't been able to find anything about it on any of the sites on the web. I presume Bob Pond still owns this aircraft, as the FAA Registry still shows it registered to him.

Thanks for the link to the video. Always good to see an A-26 get airborne. If you get more footage of it later, don't be shy. Here at WIX we tend to enjoy seeing film like this!

Wasn't that one in Minneapolis and up for sale at Courtesy at one time?

I know that it was in Minnesota for a while at POF East. Don't know anything about it being at Courtesy though.
