Mike -

I was just looking through the TX Warbird Locator site; on Corpus Christi NAS, the T-28 that was located at the Consolidated Club (former O-Club) has been gone for a couple of years now - along with the T-28 located just outside of the North Gate.

No idea what happened to those two. :(

So that isn't a T-6? It looks like the right shape for a T-6. Not quite big enough nose for a T-28 I think. Comments?

Thanks for the tips!

Changes will be in tonight's upload.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Mike,

It's a T-28A. Trust me. I drive by it twice a day, to and from work (as well as the BT-13, EC-47, B-25, and RF-4C).... :)

I like that kind of eye witness account. Helps make the Locator rock solid. Thanks.

Is there a T-6 at Goodfellow anywhere?

Mike,

There is a T-28B (140046) outside the "Bay Club" at NAS Corpus Christi.
(Drank/ate in the Bay Club a couple of times whilst attending NAS Corpus Christi Airshow with Cavanaugh this last weekend).

Aircraft faces south, and its co-ordinates are:

27.41.43.59N 97.15.28.05W

(Does not show on the sat picture. "Bay Club" is the building with the red roof.)
