Great News.

The men & women who volunteer their time to keep this B17 flying are terrific people. They were wonderful to me and very generous with their time during my visit to their (now former) hangar over at Orly in 1999. Pink Lady is a very good B17 that is lovingly & well cared for.

If you ever have a chance to meet them and see this B17, do it. The show at le Ferte/ Alais is worth the effort as you will see a/c that don't always make the hop across the Channel. It is a lovely field and a really good display. More like a "Geneseo" than a "Thunder".

The active members decide according to the financial balance sheet of the association and some other parameters if the plane will fly or not next year or not (I am not an active member...)

Excellent news about the Pink Lady flying this year Cedric :D

If only the association could produce an up to date web site and open up the membership, I'm sure that a lot more people would come forward to make offers to help / make donations etc .....

Thanks again for sharing the good news !
