Heritage Airfield (TE86) Fly-in April 7th

The planned March 31st date has been changed, we are moving the fly-in back one week to April 7th. Too much rain with more forcasted for the remainder of this week, will not allow the requiste time for the grass landing surface to dry. Hopefully, the wx gods will send us some good wx and the landing strip will be nice and dry for our new date, allowing us to enjoy a day of flying and friends.

Too bad it was rescheduled! Last weekend was beeaauutiful. Maybe it will be the same this week, but I guess you've seen the 90% chance of rain forecast - http://www.srh.noaa.gov/forecast/MapClick.php?CityName=San+Antonio&state=TX&site=EWX

If things work out and it's not too bad, I might try and come over briefly, but I've got a wedding to attend at 1pm.

Ryan,

Just got in from Colorado, been watching the weather as well. Hopefully all will work out wx wise, fingers crossed. The grass runway is dry and ready for action. The main reason for putting this off a week was to dry up the runway. We hoping for the best and looking forward to your visit, see you sat. Great line-up of VIP guests.

Warren
