A further note--

The Sabre on a pylon at Peterborough, Ontario, wears a Mk.6 serial ("23428") but is actually Mk.5 23245, hence not properly part of any Mk.6 listing. Probably the "428" is from the local RCAFA wing number...for a time Sabre 1 19101, the Canadian prototype and only Canadian F-86A variant, wore Mk.6 serial "23418" because she'd been placed on display at 418 Wing RCAFA! I think the Sarnia composite airframe is also a Mk.5.

I admit I'm surprised at the paucity of RCAF Mk.6s on the list above. It seems many of the extant ex-RCAF Sabres are Mk.5s (makes sense, as those were in service the latest, with the STU at Chatham NB till '67). The SAAF Sabre 6s did also have RCAF serials but I think they were delivered new to the SAAF (like the Belgian CF-100 situation)...

Some survivors listed here...
ImageAerial Visuals - North American Airframe Index

If you want locations follow into the links into the airframe dossiers which should link to the locations.

Do you want to find locations of displayed, stored or active aircraft? Then start with the The Locator.
Do you want to find or contribute to the documented history of an aircraft? If so then start with the Airframes Database.

Very cool database. I was able to cross-reference 5 or 6 aircraft that my father-in-law actually flew while at #1 OTU RCAF Chatham, New Brunswick in 1956 (I have his flight log from his service years, 1956-58).

Thanks!
