Going through more of my step-dad's Navy pictures I found this slide.
He's flying back seat in a VF-31 F-4J flown by XO CDR Roy Cash over the Med in 1979. USS Saratoga/CVW-9 Med cruise 1978-79.

Great pic Jack. What is even better is that your family member is in the pic as well. Makes it a family hand me down. The F-4 reminds me of a muscle car. Kind of big and bulky, but full of power.
