Just trying to get the word out. The dates for the FINA-CAF AIRSHO 2007 in Midland have changed. Instead of Sept. 22-23, the show will be held Sept. 29-30 this year.

Now, *why* would a major show like that intentionally re-book their weekend to fall right on top of the one-of-a-kind Gathering of Mustangs?

Believe me, it was unavoidable. A sponsor conflict required a change and Sept. 29-30 was the best choice, even knowing that it was the same weekend as Gathering of Mustangs. It was given much hard thought and even taken before the CAF's board of directors at their conference this past weekend.

I am sure it will be a good air show, but obviously there will be a lot less air show fans from outside the local area this year than there might have been otherwise.

I've decided to go to this show instead of the Mustang event, anyone else going?

Just a thought -- it's not an either/or proposition for which event to attend. It would be possible to attend 2 days of the Gathering of Mustangs and then fly to Midland for the AIRSHO.

Flying out from California, my pocket book says one or the other, not both unfortunately.
