The C-54 "Spirit of Freedom" will be there with our special guest, Berlin Airlift Candy Bomber Gail S. Halvorsen. (Gail was also a Ferry Command Pilot during the war)

For those who have expressed their desire to see us fly, we are scheduled to reenact one of Gail's famous Candy Drops each day. So, weather and mechanicals aside, we will be flying at Reading!

I'd also like to invite everyone to come by and tour through the "Spirit" and see what we do with this large 4- engined transport. PLUS, you'll get to meet one of the truly great Americans I've ever encountered and am proud to call a friend, Gail Halvorsen! (Betcha thought I was going to say you, Jase)

See you at RDG!

I like Twix, just so you know

That is pretty cool that you will be flying! I also really NEED to take a tour of the a/c with the ungraded displays!

Shoot! ungraded should be updated
I have not had a chance to tour the a/c in a few years (I keep getting distracted by other things at the shows, I’m like a ADD kid that has just ate a pound of sugar at airshows) and I look forward to getting in and see it. I've heard a ton of great things about it.

Tim,

I am a teacher by trade (Industrial Arts).

So I couldnt understand the term ungraded, let alone know how you knew I was a teacher, and what the heck that had to do with anything?!?!

So, needless to say, I was a bit perplexed.

See you in June!

That is great news.
I was at Nashua for your departure a few years ago and was looking forward to see it fly again.

We will be coming down on friday again. Blue Skies! Please!

Also:
The NSRA Streetrod Nationals are in York, PA that same weekend.
Shannon and I drove the 1/2 hour down there and had dinner at the Cheeseburger in Paradise while at WWII Weekend last year. They have around 4000 of the country's best come out for this, and they all cruise up and down the main drag in the evening. We ate dinner and pitched our chairs on the side of the parking lot to watch the cruising.
