Well I didn't say I wasn't. I am Jessica Simpson's boy toy. I work for fun. :D and if you believe that I also own a bridge in Brooklyn for sale.

Greatgooglymoogly...it is so good to see others with the same affliction as I: WIXAHOLICISM  I found this site in December and thought "Too cool"!! I lurked around for a while, then joined and checked in once a week or so to start. The more I read, the more I had to keep coming back in and reading more...and more...UGH! Now I am addicted. Sort of like when I was in Air Force basics and they let the smokers fall out and play grabass while the rest of us had to read our Air Force bibles while waiting in the chow line. I thought what was the harm in holding a cigarette and playing grabass for a few minutes. 25 years of smoking later, I finally gave up that nasty habit. I wonder what sort of side effects are going to pop-up 25 years from now after having been a WIXER for that long??? :toimonster:

ZIPADEEDOODAH

In dealing with any addiction, sometimes it takes a major negative experience -- an overdose or a "bad trip" -- to bring it home to you that what you are hooked on is really toxic.

My own "bad WIX trip" has happened to me over the past several days, in which I have read a number of posts that go beyond extreme viewpoints and step well over the line into appalling ignorance, racism, and other forms of bigotry. The resulting shock to my system has convinced me that I should go "cold turkey" for at least a while, and log in only to check the few threads that provide genuine warbird news, and to check my PMs.

I'm assuming you are referring to the KKK posting by boghopper. I'm curious...what was so offensive and racist about it or the replies?? :?

Hi, my name is Stephanie and I am a Wixaholic! :D

* I have admitted I am powerless over WIX —that my life (between 8am - 5pm) has become unmanageable.
* Came to believe that a power greater than myself could restore me to sanity. (Good luck with that one, WIX keeps me sane!)
* Admitted to Scott, to myself, and to other WIXers the exact nature of my wrongs. (I check WIX many times daily, or just leave it minimized in the background all day!)

I  WIX!

I have come to embrace my WIX addiction and hope that all of you can too!

:drink3:

I am just addicted to Steph and following her around like a lost puppy. You can all blame her for me hanging around so often. :D

Oh.my.gosh.

Don't get me wrong, I am flattered, just a little embarrassed, but thank you both. That's terribly sweet.
