Likewise! Thanks Gary! You're quite the man in demand, have you ever considered cloning? :)

It was one of those photos that got downloaded into the wrong file, many moons ago. I stumbled across it a few months back while looking for something else, so I know I have it, but just don't know where it was I saw it.

I am going through my files, one at a time, when I have time, to see if I can dig it up again. I'll post it as soon as I can find it.

Yea, Gary in all your spare time! By the way if you haven't finished the B-24 nose art I suggested maybe you could change Jenny M to Scarlet Johansen, a little more current. Try to get it done this weekend, in all your spare time. You weren't planning on sleeping or eating this weekend were you?

No bother. I actually did look for the picture last week, but I have a gazillion of them in my computer (over 780 just for the B-24 reconfiguration), so I had to stop for a while. I will keep on searching, time permitting.

Frequent reminders, however, are no problem whatsoever.

Gary

Was anything ever recovered from the remains of the Kee Bird?

I believe it has been mentioned in some of the other threads that none of the parts were recovered after the fire.

Excuse the computer geek babble if you already know this Gary, but if you have volumes of photos like I do in windows folders, you can open the folder and select "view" from menu and "thumbnails" from the dropdown. It's the fastest way to find that elusive photo.

Files in your computer?
I've got 5 external hard rives full of photos and my photobucket is bulging at 1500.

Hmmm, okay. I'll give that a try. But only as long as it's thumbnails I have to look at. Toenails just wouldn't be right.

Thanks for the tip,

Gary

Hey, no problem. I actually have been trying to find that picture (every now and then), but have had no luck. It's on this computer somewhere, but since it wasn't titled anything easy (like, Kee Bird picture), I can't just do a simple search for it. I'm sure it got stuffed in some other file by mistake. I haven't fogotten about you, I just haven't found it. :?

May I offer some help?

Do a regular search for *.jpg, which will look for any jpeg on your computer. Then under the 'View' tab, change it to 'Thumbnail'.

Still won't go ridiculously easily, but you'll be able to scroll through one window for everything rather than looking in every file folder you've got.

*Note* If you already know this, then feel free to e-kick me in the e-shins.
