Alright,(Yes I know this is the wrong forum) now that we've set 14April for NEAM, Let's get a head count for who's going. The Colonel has suggested that we call ahead and reserve space at the Skyline Restauraunt as that has been the The Official WIX Dining Facility and Mess Hall for all the past Gatherings(Sorry Chuck, we'll skip the P-hut, we'd probably just get tossed out anyway and I prefer to get tossed out of classier joints   )
I'll Start the Roll-call;
Myself
The Colonel
The Lurker
The Cadet
Lurker #2
+ 2 guest
Warhawk
Ryan K (?)
WIXmeister Scott
Larry W.
Tim + Kelly C.
Broken Wench
Now which of you OTHER NEW ENGLANDERS are going to show;
Airdale
Aircraft Mechanic Paul
Ken and Shannon
N3N Jeff
wls3
Darren Benoit
AFD94
Phil65
And any other New Englanders/North Easterners out there that I've missed?

And of course, special invitations go out to Beachgirl(Miss WIX 2007)
and Stephanie(Queen of the World) to grace us with their presence!

PS.............How Many Bottles of MOXIE(The National Drink of Maine!) will be required???

Exactly this many:_____________

Don't bring anymore then that.

As a side note, I am looking forward to getting some pic's with my new camera. Nice to have a camera that actually takes pictures and not just large black pieces of glossy paper.

No great an wonderful proffessional camera if thats what you are thinking. It's a 5 mega pixel Kodak Easyshare Z 740. Does pics and video. Does a decent job of it in fact. I got it last summer and have been snapping ever since.

Here are some examples. (Yes, I do tweak them a little. This camera makes that a lot easier)

Oh Al, I Love the Convertible(Olds?)!! Half a Dozen spray-bombs of Candy-Apple Red, a set of slightly used Lake Pipes and some retreaded 60's and we're cruzin'! 8) 8)

And I don't knock anybodys camera, as long as it doesn't make Large Black Sheets of Glossy Paper! H3ll, I've got Three 35 mike-mikes(all Canon, AE-1 Program, T-50 and T-90 with various lenses, anything I can find in the pawn shop) and the newest one is 20yrs old! And I just can't bring myself to give up film................

I'd like to be there, but right now, I'm waiting on word from a friend if I'll be needed to work the Eglin Airshow that weekend. I should know within the month.
If not, I'll be there.

I'm not sure if Kelly will be coming, I think she will need to be getting ready for a Gig she has that night but I should be there.

Hmmm,

Well, if my Boss doesn't cajole me into working "again" on a Saturday
I think you can count me in. I've never actually met some of the folks here face to face before and, for me at least, I'd love to do it. Sounds like fun. Besides, ever since I left Minnesota, work has dominated my days since I got here. So, I guess what I am saying is that even being here for almost a full year now, I don't really know any folks outside of my work enviromnent. And I'd love to meet some of you guys.

Paul

That's okay guys, I STILL may end up working that Saturday myself(My New AND Improved Schedule of Sundays and Thursdays as opposed to the REALLY CRAPPY Saturdays and Sundays I had to suffer with before. Service Requirements and all    )

As for attire, Beachgirl, although we do try and maintain a certain decorum, I think that dispensing with the sash and tiera would be acceptable and your NEW WIX CAMISOLE would retain that certain ambiance and dignity we strive for..........................

Nope - '48 Pontiac. Just shy of being a rat rod... Al, you ought to send that photo to Hemmings Motor News for its Abandoned Autos calendar - if they use it, you get $500.00!
