Yeah, I played the role of a ME-109 for the film. Not sure why.

In "Iron Eagle III", the POF P-51A had a much more elaborate German paint scheme. It was overall grey with markings. This photo looks to be from some other project.

it was captured by the Grey Eagles before they were defeated by the CAF.

Yeah, you are right about the iron Eagle markings. Maybe this si when they were changing markings or something. Note the rudder.

Those tThings" under the wings (rockets??) indicate someone's motion picture nightmare to me.

LOL - That was a fun little book wasn't it? I seem to have misplaced my copy of Grey Eagles... think its aobut time to dig it out again and give it another read.
