I'm not sure who the owner of the HU-16 is , but N16HU is the correct N-number. I beleive it is an air yacht. The Colonel probably knows. He knows everything! The Goose is the same one that was flown on the T.V.show "Tales of the Gold Monkey" in the early 80's. Sorry, I missed the PBY( another Albatross shot?), but, I've got some PBY's I caught at BIA in the past year. Last falls PBY was the Fighter Factory's coming back from an extended tour of Europe. This years was a Canso heading for England(story about it in this months Air Classics). I'll post those as I find them.

Shannon and I did talk to the owner although very briefly at Nashua last weekend.
It is based out of southern Florida and he was up here a few more weeks because of the weather at home.
We asked if he was going to the Key West show in November, and he seemed suprised and interested. Then he said if they are having one he probably will be there
Hopefully we will see him again!

Portland was the third time I've seen this particular Albatross and it's a beauty. I just love watching those Grumman water birds!
