UFO of the month (Hellcat?)

I would really like to know what this comes from. Possibly Hellcat? Definitely not for Corsair. Note Norfolk Naval Air Supply Depot (sometimes abbreviated and written as NASD) tag, and misspelled "Bendex." Any clues would be appreciated.

Master Brake cyl

This looks like a real early F4U 1 master brake cyl. I have never seen a surplus one. Our F4U 1 had these types. We could never find any so we put F4U 1D types back in it. They mount from the floor of the cockpit differently so they won't work on an FG1D or others. I think
