When he and I win our respective lotteries, we are gonna pool our money and get one flying just to PI$$ off all the naysayers! Ya with me Nathan??? You buy the gas and I will buy the beer...invite a couple of our female friends along and off we will go into the wild blue yonder

Now that sounds cool. You could gut the aft pressure compartment, and outfit it with shag carpeting, king-size waterbed, kick-a$$ sound system, and even a lighted dance floor and disco ball! Make it the travelling headquarters of the Mile High Club!![]()
Seriously, though..I would also love to see a Peacemaker fly, but I'll just have to settle for experiencing it vicariously through Jimmy Stewart. Judging by the earlier thread about the Vulcan, I think a B-29 (or two) or C-97 are probably the biggest recip-powered warbirds we'll ever see flying.
