We struck up a conversation because my father is from Ontario, OR. He used to own a paving company, and has a pension for warbirds. He used to fly, mainly his T-28. He was the guy responsible for bringing in the majority of the A-4/TA-4's that are around the country. He also owns a MiG-23. Occasionally, and without any semblance of schedule, they will light one up, taxi to the end of the runway, do a full power run-up INCLUDING the afterburners, piss off the neighbors, taxi back, and shut down...my kind of guy. He's as nice as could be, and would welcome anyone that loves old jets. If I remember right, a few years ago they (he and some of his partners in crime) got in trouble for having an impromptu "airshow" for some of the fire bomber crews that were there on the field. Evidently the F'nAA inspector that happened to be there didn't find the show nearly as entertaining as the fire bomber crews did.
