I don't see how this is more dangerous then Patty or Sean doing a Lomcevak at a few hundred.
So, you don't have air pockets, downdrafts or wind shear in the USA then? Or any other hazard which might suddenly see that wingtip touch the ground sending the aircraft cartwheeling into the crowd then?

I don't know what being "Bob Hoovered" is (some sort of suck job?

) but I would like to see all airshow pilots putting a proper safe margin for error into their routines. I actually thought the same about the great Ray Hanna, I knew he was a master of low flying, I knew he was experienced and knew what he was doing, and I loved to watch it, but it scared the hell out of me and I always worried about his low antics. i think that about all these pilots who do it. I recognise this particular pilot is regarded highly for his skill and experience, that's fine. I have no problem with that. But he's still flying too low for me to feel comfortable with, and it is just not for me.

I'm confused as to what this has to do with the discussion, but for what it's worth, I always thought America was built on religious fundamentalism that was thrown out of Europe for being too radical, followed by all conquering expansionism, genocide, oppression, capitalism and globalisation.
