My now 9 month old son is African American (I hate the word adopted as he's my kid just as much as my other kids)

Considering I'm a WW2 aviation nut, I figured I'd better get him started early, so he has a 1/18th scale Red Tail Mustang hanging over his crib. His routine is to have to be held up to spin the prop when he gets up, so i think we're on the right track.

These photos are great. I did my little guy's Mustang for him. Any idea if that's black trim on the nose or dark blue in the photos? Also interesting to see the variations in the painted tails.
