Sorry about the mis-information about this being the only Shackleton flying. Didn't know about the one in South Africa. :oops:

I do want to add one thing though, the guys that come down to get this thing running and flying every couple of years are extremely hard workers and love that ol' Shackleton. There is a friendly rivalry between them and us with the "real" four engined bombers here in Midland. ;-) You know, things like them calling FIFI a flying oil leak, and then me countering that claim by saying they have to have twice as many propellers to get their pig into the air. :lol:

I'll see if I can dig up some pictures of some of our past fun times.
