Anyone on here planning on riding in a warbird in 2007?

Since I'm a B-17 crew member, the answer would have to be "YES!" 8)

Seriously, I do plan to sieze other opportunities to fly aboard other warbirds. My long-term goal is to ride aboard EVERY flying B-17 in the world. I've done two so far, so I'm off to a good start!

Cavanaugh Flight Museum sells rides in their AT-6. They go over my house at least once a day, especially on the weekends. I'll probably fly with them this year.

Cheers!

I plan on it. I also plan on buying a ride on Aluminum Overcast this year at Oshkosh. I flew Fuddy Duddy over Oshkosh a few years ago, but I love the B-17 and want to do it again. I know that I will be buying a ride, but I figure the money goes to a good place with them.

Absolutely, I have been in a B-24, B-17, and T-6. I am aiming for a Mustang ride this year, and maybe a two seat spit if it is possible.

Hope to go up in the CAF's Old Red Nose in 2007, but the ultimate would be to get up in Bill Greenwoods Spit. Need to lose another 25lbs for that, I think he only takes people that weigh in under 190lbs.

I'm up to 3 B-17s and the Collings Foundation's B-24 (thank God for media flights!) as well as 3 or 4 T-6s and a Tora Tora 5-plane flight. Goals are to add a B-25 and P-51 (or two) to the list. I too am hoping to be able to eventually fly on all the remaining B-17s....

I'm hoping/praying to get a chance to shoot for the Gathering of Mustangs here in Columbus next year in some capacity other than attendee...if that happens, I'd imagine I will shoot a pile of stuff from the ground. I don't really expect to get a fotoflight during that event, as you've gotta figure the wolrd's top aviation shooters will all be clamoring for spots, and, while I have a ton of confidence in abilities, I don't have very much printed/published aviation cred yet.

If nothing else, I hope to be flight engineer on a certain B-24A sometime in the spring. ;-)

Say Lynn, air conditioned 172s don't count as warbirds despite there lineage to a T-42. How about a Yak?
