Doc on the move?

Tue Dec 19, 2006 7:25 am

I caught a millisecond of a local news clip on Doc moving to Kansas. Any news?

Why the rush to move the plane to a facility where there isn't adequate protection for it? Is Boeing in a rush to evict Doc? It doesn't make sense to move Doc to a facility where she will have to be displayed outdoors before the restoration effort is complete.

Thanks for the link!

I think outside in Kansas in January is just great

Which yahoo is pulling the strings. If it was my plane it would not be outside.

I wonder if the problem might be that when Spirit Aero bought out Boeing Wichita, it may not have been something they wanted to continue supporting. Doc is a real jewel that needs to be cherished....

I think Doc is on the Military side , which is owned by Boeing. Spirit only bought the commerical side of the Wichita plant. I was there last thursday anybody know about a B-52 with wings and tail missing, it was about 50 yards from the building that Doc's in. :?:

It would be nice if the DOC web site would be updated once in awhile. It hasn't been touched since August
