I was just looking at something on Google and came upon this accident from the summer of 1983.
https://data.ntsb.gov/carol-repgen/api/ ... /12007/pdfThe interesting part is that the report mentions 1 fatality, 2 serious injuries. And they are referred to as 1 crew, 2 passengers. Which means that there is no collateral damage to anyone on the ground. Which again suggest the pilot did aerobatics with two in the back. The airplane was an ex- Spanish T-6D (N29938) owned by a Thomas P. Balch of Edmore, MI who perished in the accident. They were apparently on their way back from Oshkosh.
So, does anyone remember this accident? Or even better, were there three souls aboard the plane on this flight. Or did the NTSB make a typo in their report.
