There is another photo taken from the opposite side which shows the cutout where the old-style tail skid was, the 1941 roundel, and that the horizontal stab had de-ice boots. It also shows a circular opening on the belly, aft of the crew hatch, that I'm not familiar with. At first glance, I took it to be the location where the ventral turret was removed, however it is not, this is further aft. I'm not current on flickr or phototbucket to share the pic.
