New heritage tail of the 86th Flying Training Squadron

Fri Aug 13, 2021 3:56 pm

The new heritage tail of the 86th Flying Training Squadron sits prior to an unveiling ceremony August 13, 2021 at Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas. The paint scheme of the aircraft reaches back to the Douglas B-18 “Bolo” of World War II and honors the Airmen who served aboard, the nose of the aircraft is also inscribed with Capt. Glen Edward’s name in memory of his service to the U.S. Air Force. (U.S. Air Force Photos by Senior Airman Nicholas Larsen)

It's nice to see that the USAF has begun to have these one off paint jobs.
