Great photos!

Got me thinking about the jet-pak on the C-119's. Seems the entire pylon and J-34 was taken from the P2V and put atop the C-111 spine.

What all was to the Jet-pak? Structural reinforcement to the fuselage? Fuel lines running from a certain tank? Booster pump required, or a pressurized fuel system? Any issues with running the engine "upside down"?

The engine was likely not run upside down. Besides the reinforcements, fuel and electrical systems you mention, extensive flight testing was probably also required.

.
The P2 pylon is switched from the top of the P2 nacelle to the bottom of the C-119 nacelle and modified to fit the top of the fuselage instead of the bottom of the wing
