The top photo is across from the Neil House hotel in Columbus, Ohio.
wonder what the biplane is to the right of the P-80 in the photo?
Not a Stearman (square-ish wingtips and four ailerons) a N3N?

Neither type has a Columbus connection...but it is close to Wright Field and Freeman Field (where the V-2 may have come from).

Well, apparently it came from MacDill Field. "1102" or "1103" looks like one of those four-digit codes that has nothing to do with the serial (more MacDill B-26 buzz numbers here, https://387bg.com/Stations/MacDill/MacDill%20Field.htm scroll halfway down). From the Baltimore Sun:
