Nearly ever time the origin or performance of the Mustang (I'm a Brit and don't do alpha-numeric nomenclature) is discussed, the additional thrust obtained from the radiator installation due to the Meredith Effect is mentioned. COVID isolation has seen me spending time going through the reference material I have and I found this copy of an old RAE Farnborough report and I thought these two excerpts from it may be of interest to those who didn't know the origin of the Meredith Effect.

This is the original figure for the RAE report that put the Mustang's Meredith Effect on steroids.

Interesting that this more technical paper highlights the Bf-109 and Spitfire wing mounted radiator configuration more favorably for thrust than the deeper P-51 installation.
