This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

The USAF cancelled all of its airshows and support of events through May 15. None of the demo teams are performing during this time. I think that's probably a pretty good indicator that most airshows scheduled during that time period will be cancelled or postponed. Maybe some warbird or civilian-heavy shows in areas that haven't yet been affected will take place, but I personally find that unlikely due to the increasing prevalence of statewide bans on large public gatherings.
I also wonder about economic impacts on sponsors of airshows and what effects this will have on their support of events that end up being held later in the year. I also wonder about the impact on museums that are dependent on revenue from flight experiences to keep their aircraft airworthy. A missed season could have a huge impact on some organizations.
I'm trying to be optimistic, but it's impossible to predict how all of this will play out. Even if the spread is contained there are so many other factors beyond our control that may come into play – economic factors being the one that seems most obvious to me. I'm personally a "serial planner" of sorts when it comes to travel and events, and I do try to travel a lot, so I'm trying to see what I have already booked that I can get refunded for if it comes to that. Hoping for the best, but also trying to be flexible while keeping all of this all in perspective. For me, cancellations are just an inconvenience of losing a form of entertainment and leisure. There are other people for which these things matter for their bottom line. Work and education are going to very different for a lot of people. Keeping those people in my thoughts and hoping for the best for them.
Hopefully all of these cancellations, postponements, closings and other modifications taking place will have the intended effect.

^ Well said above.
In the meantime, I would assume most of us here on WIX aren't going anywhere.
Lets have some requests.

98th Bomb Group B-29's, Korea. Bonus points for Yokota AFB and especially 343rd BS aircraft. Extreme gratitude if you can dig up a photo of the sign from the maintenance area that said all work was guaranteed to the end of the runway!

Totally untrue . His 80th birthday was this week. I just searched , there’s not one online reference
or news article - “ Chuck Norris tests positive. “ Another celebrity would be huge news.

I found that video last year and was so excited I kinda put the kids to bed early so I could watch it. My good friend was in the 343rd but unfortunately I didn't see any 343rd aircraft there. Still very cool nonetheless!
