This is the place where the majority of the warbird (aircraft that have survived military service) discussions will take place. Specialized forums may be added in the new future

Hi All,
Mrs VB was watching the Season 3 opener of Amazon's "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel" and shared it with me last night. It looks to me that the opening USO show scene was shot at the American Airpower Museum at Republic Airport. "Miss Hap" (with props removed), the C-47, F-84 etc, figure prominently as well as a number of L-Birds massed on the ramp outside of the hangar. Amazon Prime members can check it out as part of their membership. Even if you HATE the show, you can turn the sound off and look at the eye candy (not the dancers, guys, the Warbirds!)
Enjoy!

There was also a P-51 (possibly fiberglass) in Tuskegee colors hanging from the rafters in a diving orientation.

I saw that too, a nice surprise. I liked all the L-birds lined up outside. Nicely done. One of the L-39's could briefly be seen peeking out from behind a corner.

My wife and I actually like the show and just started watching last night. I recognized the museum's birds right away.
The show presents a PC-centric version of history in many ways and is written like a stage play (with the rapid-fire banter) but I like it.
