Due to some last minute changes, I have 3 extra rooms available for Airventure from Sun, 7/23 thru Sun, 7/30. They are 1 King Bed rooms with a Sleeper Sofa at the Super 8 Appleton (about 15 miles north of Oshkosh). They include the normal free breakfast. For fellow WIX and CAF members, the rooms are priced at $750/each for the week including taxes. PM me if you are interested.

I will be arriving in Oshkosh on Sunday afternoon, 7/23.

Just for comparison, I have rented a motorhome for OSH at $900-$1,000 for the week plus you have to pay around $300 for the camping space. And of course you have to add admission to that. Sounds like a good deal to me! You also get a good toilet and shower at the motel- the RV water supply won't last a week if you have 3 people taking daily showers. The campground showers are OK, but are rudimentary (getting better though) and there is little privacy if that concerns you.

Scott,

These rooms definitely cost me more than $750 for the week; we just had some changes in schedules that left me with some extra rooms.

I just have 1 room left as of 7/13.

Thanks
Robert

I am only able to go 2 days this year and had to go up to Green Bay to find something I can afford at a Comfort Inn for $78 a night. I know it is a drive to Oshkosh like maybe 45 -60 min, however I live in Orlando and commute multiple days to Sun N Fun, which I figured is about the same distance

Seems like alot of money for Oshkosh, but then again I never stayed there. Anyone ever rent a house boat and go that route?

I just cancelled my hotel in Appleton (AmericaInn), it was $630 for the week. I booked it last year as I left Oshkosh.
