Three T-33s that I know of are coming--Doug Matthews', one of John Swatrz's and my NATO camo RCAF bird. The year-long restoration on my Canadair Sabre Mk VI is finishing up and should be the 4th F-86 at OSH so long as we don't hit any eleventh hour snags. Fingers crossed.
Excellent! Would be nice to see 3 Sabres followed by 3 T-33's!

We will keep hoping for the 4th Sabre!

I sure hope that the Skyhawk, Sabre and Skyraider are amongst those that can make it
These three are most likely coming up although the Skyraider has a little maintenance issue we're working on. The T2 is still in inspection but should be done in time. Not sure if it will be coming to Osh though as pilots availability is limited.

That sounds good! Would love to see the T-2 there, but if the others are coming that will be fine.

Any idea what day or days they will be arriving, and will any possibly fly in any of the afternoon air shows during the week?

I look forward to seeing your T-Bird, I was hoping it would be at Oshkosh. I am sure I may have crossed paths with it during my career with the CAF (now RCAF).

We had T-birds in Cold Lake and Europe when I was stationed there on Hornets. I do have time in some of our hack aircraft.

Texas Flying Legends' Corsair is back up and running. Here's hoping that results in one more bent-wing bird attending.

So as we are on the eve of the event looking back at the hopefuls from March it appears that neither P-82 will be ready, and Doc may be flying but not cleared to travel yet. The A-20 and P-47 of Lewis Air will be there. Any surprises left? I would really love to see white 33 show up unannounced. Anybody have any evidence to support or deny that hope?

I'm only able to attend 1 day this year, does anyone know when the A-20 is scheduled to fly? I would love to see that and the Mars fly if possible.

Not 100% confirmed, but likely Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Also, according to the online schedule, the Mars will be flying Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday evening.

Hope that is the case, it will be outstanding to see the A-20 fly all THREE of those days!

Is the Lewis P-47 also Tuesday Friday Saturday? That makes Tuesday an important day is the flight line will be moved back Friday and Saturday for the Snowbirds.
Are the daily airshow schedules with times posted near the warbird briefing area each day as they are exhibit HQ and performers tent?

Updates from the EAA webinar last night as reported by Airshowstuff:

http://airshowstuff.com/v4/2016/eaa-web ... kosh-2016/

Interesting tidbits mentioned during the presentation:

-The Martin Mars will be performing water drops as part of the show, dropping 7,200 gallons of water to show off its firefighting capabilities.
-A grass runway will be set up for WWI aircraft, which are being highlighted this year, roughly near the ultralight strip.
-A US Air Force U-2 spy plane will perform a flyover on Friday.
-Pearl Harbor reenactment group Tora! Tora! Tora! will perform in the evening show on Wednesday, and a special “Final Countdown” pass will see US Navy F/A-18F Super Hornets fly with the Tora Zeros.
-The B-29 Superfortress “Fifi” will be in attendance, and hopes are high that the B-29 “Doc” will be able to complete flight testing in time to appear as well.
-A rare North American P-64 will attend and will fly during the show. Other cool aircraft appearing include an A-20 Havoc, Super Guppy, TWA MD-83, Boeing YL-15, and Airbus eFan.
-Pilot and actor Harrison Ford will be on hand to introduce a showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on Friday night.
-The Canadian Snowbirds will perform Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. They will require a special crowd line similar to when the Thunderbirds appeared in 2014. This will also allow fully aerobatic F-16 demonstrations on those days, and likely the same for the Super Hornet demonstration on Friday and Sunday. The box and show center are shown in the image below, followed by the daily airshow lineups

I've been working on my itinerary this week of what I want to attend. The hardest part of going to Oshkosh is deciding what to do/see and what you might have to miss. I might try to talk my friend into arriving sometime Tuesday instead of Wednesday :D

Oshkosh is a tough show to only do one or two days. I went 5 days for my only other one in 2010, and I am planning on being there for some arrivals on Sunday and at the show for 5 days Monday through Friday this year.

Looking forward to the Mars water drops! Would be nice to see some pyro and then have the Mars come over and douse it all......

Not putting too much stock in the possibility of Doc showing up, but I guess you never know.... :o
